About the event

MotoFox presents the Four Forests Tour, a 3 day 2 night ride accross the far North of England and Scotland, the route is 95% paved tarmac roads, however the forest drives are un sealed loose surfaces these should be passable on all motorcycles with road tyres, however weather conditions will effect the surfaces. This tour has the option to be guided or self guided. This means you can ride with your MotoFox guide and the main group or ride at your own pace following a pre provided route on your GPS device. Please make sure you are happy with the terms and conditions before booking.

The ride starts at 10am from Tim Hortons in Penrith on the 14th June then we head to the south west of Scotland where we take in our first two forests, after a nights sleep we ride futher north towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs where will find our 3rd forest ride. Our final day ride back to penrith is inland and will include a short motoway hop as we head back to Penrith via the Kielder Forest in Northumbria. 

Overnight accomodation is shared rooms in independant Hotels/B&Bs included will be your stay and breakfasts other meals will need to be purchased during ride or at our overnight stops. There is a small amount of parking on site but they are unable to reserve us any spaces so we may have to park on the street or a near by carpark, Please bring locks and appropriate security devices with you. Whats included: 3 Days guided riding, Overnight B&B acccomodation, Tolls and Ferries.

What you'll need: Your own road legal motorcycle we won't be going off tarmac but we will be going down back roads that have a poor or loose surface.

Your own appropriate PPE including ECE 22.05 or 22.06 rated helmet, appropriate armoured motorcycle clothing, motorcycle gloves, sturdy motorcycle or combat boots. Check the weather forecast for prevailing weather conditions.

A change of clothes for the evening after the ride. 

Roadside Tools, Torch, Snacks, Drinks, Money for meals and refreshments.

Who this is not for: Aggressive or Fast riders, people looking to show off. Wannabe superstar racers.

What not to Bring: Ego or a Bad Attitude, Your kitchen sink.
